Help Redcar girl beat cancer by getting fit
1:23pm Monday 28th January 2013 in News By Joanna Morris
A TEESSIDE bootcamp organiser is urging people to help a little girl beat cancer by getting fit.
Robert Westerburg, owner of Forte Fitness and Bootcamps, has devised a new fitness programme in honour of three-year-old cancer sufferer Ruby Hodgson, from Redcar, who is battling a brain tumour.
Her family wants to to send her to America for six weeks of expensive proton treatment and Mr Westerburg is trying to help them raise as much money as possible for the trip.
After being moved by Ruby’s story, Mr Westerburg devised a 14-day online fitness programme that costs £14.
Participants in the fat-busting programme will be provided with meal planners, recipes, shopping lists, work out music, exercise routines and videos.
The course begins on Monday, February 18 and all proceeds will go to help Ruby’s family fund her treatment.
To sign up, visit fortefitnessandbootcamps.com before Saturday, February 16.
