CONCESSIONARY travel passes issued in Middlesbrough are due to be renewed. More than 16,000 passes issued as part of the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme in 2008 will expire at the end of March. Middlesbrough Council is working to ensure new passes will arrive ahead of the expiration date. All pass holders who qualify on grounds of age or on disability grounds will be automatically issued with a renewed pass that will be sent to their home address before April 1. Anyone who has moved address or changed contact information should inform the council by calling 01642 726053.
