LOVEBIRDS in Darlington are being offered the chance to win a free Valentine’s Day meal at a pub in the town.
Bosses at The Brinkburn, in Lady Kathryn Grove, are hoping to fan the flames of romance by offering a novel way for guests to ask out their potential love interest – via Facebook.
General manager James Davies said: “It’s not easy to pluck up the courage to ask the object of your affection on a date, so we thought we’d lend a hand and play Cupid.
“We want people to take a chance on romance this Valentine’s Day and you could win a date on us.”
