Half-term fun activities planned in Hartlepool

FAMILIES are being invited to book up for half-term activities at a country park in Hartlepool. Summerhill, a 100-acre site run by the Hartlepool Borough Council, will hold twig sculpting, wellie wandering, archery, climbing and other events between February 18 and 22. HOME SAY: Residents in a number of parishes across Stockton are being encouraged to have their say in a rural housing survey. Stockton Borough Council has commissioned Arc4 to undertake a survey to identify annual need for affordable housing in rural areas over the next five years. Drop-in sessions will be held. THREE DOGS: An appeal for new recruits to join Cleveland Police’s Dog Section has resulted in three new dogs being recruited. The three dogs, Milo, Gunner and Dex, are currently undergoing training in the hope that they will be operational in mid-February.
