WORKS WARNING: Repair works on both water and electricity supplies are causing temporary traffic disruption on The Avenue at the junction with Sycamore Road, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, with two way traffic lights in operation.
PETS TOMBOLA: Animal charity Save Our Strays will be holding a tombola at Pets at Home, Skippers Lane, Middlesbrough, on Sunday, from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The charity relies completely on public donations to rescue unwanted dogs, mainly from dog pounds.
CHOIR CASH: Marske Fishermen’s Choir helped to raise £260 when members performed at a concert at St Mary’s church in Brotton, east Cleveland. The money will go towards church funds.
