MOTIVATED young people are offering their skills for free to any community group or project that needs it.

The group of four young men are taking part in a Prince’s Trust team programme, which aims to help unemployed youngsters learn new skills and improve their confidence.

As part of the course, the group are looking for a community project to work on for two weeks between February 18 and March 1.

The young men, Sean Hodgson, 22, John Hodgson, 19, Ryan Adams, 18, and John-Paul Tobin, 16, are looking for a project in Darlington, or the surrounding area, as the course is based at Darlington Community Fire Station, in St Cuthbert’s Way.

Sean said: “We just want to help anyone who needs it. We are hoping to better the community and are willing to get stuck into anything.”

Any groups or projects who need help are asked to contact course leader, Matthew Wigmore, on 07969-335-538 or by emailing matt.wigmore@stockton.ac.uk
