Mayor of Stockton launches campaign to honour local heroes

THE Mayor of Stockton, Lyne Apedaile, has launched Stockton Council’s second civic awards where local people are honoured for helping their community.

ACTION AID: Charity Action Aid Hartlepool will hold a book sale and tombola at Hartlepool Central Library between 10am and 3.30pm on Monday, January 28. Money raised will go to help child labourers in Pakistan. To donate books or money call 01429-236032.
