MONEY RAISED: More than £1,000 was raised for young people’s organisations in Hartlepool by the town’s Royal Antediluvian Order of the Buffaloes (the ‘Buffs’). The Headland based Royal Jubilee/Nugent Lodge raised £1,020 during the year and will donate all proceeds to Hartlepool Council’s Chairman Stephen Akers-Belcher who will split the money between seven local nominated charities.
MUG HUG: A free workshop to create knitted covers for mugs will take place at Hemlington’s The Barn, on Nuneaton Drive from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, February 14. Participants will be provided with Fairtrade yarn and refreshments. To book a place call 01642-596546.
ENVIRONMENTAL NEWSLETTER: The winter edition of the Wild Green Spaces in Hartlepool newsletter is now available and contains news and updates on environmental projects taking place in the town.
