Festive fundraising total

The Lions Club of Thirsk and Northallerton has raised more than £1,000 from collections at its santa sleigh, which was in Romanby and Tesco carpark in Northallerton over the festive season. The proceeds will all go to good causes. The club would like to thank everyone in the area for their generosity. 

FLOOD FORUM: The views of Ryedale residents affected by flooding are being sought at a roadshow by The National Flood Forum (NFF) in Norton near Malton next month. It will be held in the Asda supermarket carpark on Norton Road on Monday, February 4 from midday until 6pm. The forum is a national charity which supports people at risk of flooding and those who have been hit by floods. The show is being supported by local councils, the Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water and the emergency services.
