Committee meeting to discuss flooding aftermath in the North-East

FLOODING UPDATES: Members of the Environment Agency’s Northumbria flood and coastal committee will meet at Darlington Town Hall on Friday, January 25, between 10.15am and 12.45pm. Among the items on the agenda are a presentation on the floods that hit large parts of the region last year, a report on investment in flood defences and an update on coastal issues. There will also be a presentation on the Darlington Town Centre Fringe, a proposal to transform the land around the River Skerne in the town centre.
