AN Antiques Roadshow-style event will take place in a Richmond auction house next month.

Addisons auctioneers will be offering free valuations to anyone who wants to find out how much their antiques are worth at its estate agent office in King Street on Tuesday, February 5.

Expert valuers will be available to advise on all manner of contemporary and antique objects, including jewellery, silver, ceramics, glass, pictures and sculpture.

While this is a free service and there is no obligation to sell, any objects valued on the day will have the option to be included in the next relevant sale.

Richard Edwards, senior auctioneer at Addisons, said: “Often people are very surprised by the value of some of the items that they have in their home, especially if they have been passed down through the generations.”

Valuations on the day are by appointment only so call Addisons on 01833-690545 or email to arrange a time.
