FOLK CLUB: The Darlington folk club will host a singaround session at their monthly meeting at the Copper Beech pub, in Neasham Road, Darlington, on Thursday, January 24, at 8pm.

SPORT TRY-OUT : No strings badminton, a session designed to let people try out the racquet sport for the first time, will be held at the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, on Wednesday, January 23, between 5pm and 6pm. Entry is £2 per person. Equipment is provided.

SAFETY CLASS: Health and safety classes for parents with babies and young children will start at The Coleridge Centre, in Ribble Drive, Darlington, on Thursday, January 24, between 9.30am and 11.30am. The course lasts for ten week and is free to enter. For more information call 01325-248022.
