Bird watch: The Royal Horticultural Society is backing the RSPB and its national campaign Big Garden Birdwatch on January 26 and 27 by encouraging visitors at its Harlow Carr garden in Harrogate, to record sightings of birds. Experts will be on hand over the weekend, holding informal guided bird walks and helping visitors identify the different bird species.
