Singers find their voices to help charity

DOZENS of young musicians attended a marathon sing-along session which swelled a charity’s coffers.
The Forum Music Centre, in Darlington, hosted the Thank You For The Music event, on Sunday (December 23).
A total of 44 singers took part in the event, which ran from 1pm to 11pm and raised £1,500 for Age UK’s Darlington branch.
An audience of more than 200 people watched proceedings.
Organiser Viveca Bradshaw described it as “a fabulous event”.
