Darlington man denies stealing lawnmower and fishing gear

A MAN has appeared at court charged with the theft of a lawnmower and almost a dozen fishing scale packs.
Craig Swainston, of Bowman Street, in Darlington, pleaded not guilty to burgling a garage in the same street and stealing the lawnmower and 11 fishing scale packs of an unknown value.
The 23-year-old appeared at Darlington Magistrates' Court today (Thursday, December 27) and was given unconditional bail.
His trial will take place at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on March 18.
