CREATIVE adults celebrated a crafty festive season at an annual prize ceremony.
The winners of a festive competition to design Christmas cards and decorations were invited to receive their awards at County Hall, in Durham.
Organised by Durham County Council’s CREATE arts and activities service, the competition is open to older and disabled people who live in residential or care homes in the county or attend day centres.
Janice Pearce, CREATE coordinator, said: “Our Christmas competition has now been running for 19 years and every year the entries just get better and better.
“Picking the winners is always difficult so we would like to congratulate everyone who took part this year for their fantastic efforts.”
