Christmas dinner for Richmond's homeless was a success

A CHRISTMAS dinner for the homeless and lonely was hailed as a great success, and saw organisers hand out more than 100 donated presents.
The Christmas Meal Project took place on Christmas Day in Richmond Town Hall for the fifth year running, and presents were donated by staff and customers at Richmondshire District Council.
Councillor Linda Curran, one of the event organisers, said: “We have to say a huge thank you to absolutely everyone who has contributed to making this event so special."
