The court heard that Blewitt had 63mg of alcohol in his breath – the legal limit is 35mg - when he was stopped by officers on Brinkburn Drive at 11.15pm on December 6.
He was disqualified from driving for 16-months and fined £204.
He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge and given the option to reduce his driving ban by four months upon completion of a drivers’ rehabilitation course.
