FESTIVE FILMS: All are invited to enjoy two family-friendly festive films this week on the Big Screen in Middlesbrough’s Centre Square starting with It’s A Wonderful Life tomorrow night (Thursday, December 20) at 6pm. The second film Polar Express will be shown on Saturday, December 22, at 1pm. Seating is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. People are advised to wear appropriate warm clothing.

NURSING AWARD: South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting patients and their families to nominate staff who have gone that extra mile for a Nightingale Award. Nurses and midwives from any of the trust’s hospitals and community services can be nominated for an award, including The James Cook University Hospital, The Friarage, Guisborough Primary Care Hospital, East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital, Carter Bequest Primary Care Hospital, Redcar Primary Care Hospital, The Friary Community Hospital and The Lambert Memorial Community Hospital. Nominations can be made for teams or individuals and must be received by February 28 next year.
