AN environmental initiative has launched a Facebook site to encourage people to get involved in its projects.
The Northallerton Environmental Enhancement Initiative (NEEI) was set up this year to try and turn neglected spaces in the town into green oases for wildlife.
The initiative, which works with a number of organisations including councils, Broadacres Housing Association and HMP Northallerton, is currently working on several different projects.
It has now set up a Facebook page to encourage people to find out more about the initiative.
People can also use the page to nominate other areas of the town they think may be suitable for environmental enhancement.
It can be found at facebook.com/groups/neei.group/
