MEDICATION LOST: A quantity of medication that is usually used to treat depression has been lost in South Bank. The Propronol, Azathioprine and Predrisolone tablets were lost close to Tesco stores on Skippers Lane yesterday evening (Tuesday, December 18). Anyone who finds the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or to a police officer.

BURGLARY ATTEMPT: Cleveland Police is appealing for information following an incident in which a man was disturbed trying to force open the rear door of an address on Thetford Road in Hartlepool at around 5.10pm on Sunday, December 16. The man was confronted by the resident of the address, who had heard noises at the door. When confronted, the suspect made off in the direction of Catcote Road. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, aged around 30-years-old, unshaven, with pointy features and of a scruffy appearance. The man was wearing a deerstalker hat. Anyone who may have seen the man in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone with further information, is asked to contact DC Karen McManus of Hartlepool CID on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
