A CHRISTMAS market in Darlington has been cancelled.

The Christingle Market was due to take place in the town centre tomorrow (Thursday, December 20), from noon until 8pm, but has been called off due to a poor weather forecast.

Traders who were due to take part in the Christingle Market have been invited to join the Saturday market on Saturday, December 22, from 9am until 5pm.

There will also be a festive market on Sunday, between 10am and 4pm, and a Christmas Eve Market, on Monday, from 9am until 4pm.
