POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down a man suspected of stealing a sat-nav from a car in Darlington.
Officers were called by a member of the public who reported a man on a bicycle acting suspiciously in Southend Avenue at 1pm yesterday (Monday, December 17).
When officers arrived they discovered a car had its window smashed and later discovered a sat-nav had been stolen from inside.
Police would like to speak to the man seen in the area at the time who is described as 18 or 19-years-old, with medium length mousey hair and wearing a dark or black tracksuit with stripes, possibly red, running down the legs.
He was riding a black racer style bicycle with some red colouring on its frame.
