School pursues Fairtrade goals

First published in News

DARLINGTON students are working hard to help their school achieve its ambitions.

Hummersknott Academy is aiming to be named a Fairtrade school.

A group of students, known as the Inspire group, organises stalls at break and lunchtime in their weekly meetings.

Youth worker, Mikeala Walker, from All Saints Church, and Martin Stand, of Darlington Churches Youth Ministry, also help with the Fairtrade stands.

Pupils and staff took advantage of the opportunity to stock up on the produce that encourages environmental trade.
