FESTIVE VISIT: Father Christmas will make a final stop at a railway museum to meet children and pick up their wish lists.
Head of Steam - Darlington Railway Museum will welcome Santa on Saturday, December 22, from 10am to 4pm. Call 01325-460532.
PAINTING CONTEST: People are being urged to name a painting at a tourist attraction. The Locomotion No 1 exhibit, by Durham artist Steven Fox, is based at Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum.
The competition is open to children under 12, and the winner will receive an annual family museum pass.
