STABLE FIRE: Police are appealing for information after a suspected arson at The Stables, near Seamer, on Sunday, (December 16) at around 12.30am. Nobody was hurt in the fire at the unoccupied premises. Anyone with information can call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
Crowded carols: Around 3,000 people from across the Yorkshire region took part in the 34th annual NHS Christmas Carol Service at York Minster. A voluntary collection raised money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
