FISHERMEN’S CHOIR: Marske Fishermen’s Choir raised £150 for the RNLI when they took part in a fundraiser at Marske Sports Club. The choir is holding a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 23 at the Ship Inn at 8pm.

FOOTBALL SESSIONS: Weekly football sessions are held every Friday at the Acorn Centre, in Acklam, Middlesbrough, from 6pm to 7pm. Anyone interested should call 01642-832659 to register for the sessions.

CLOSURE ALERT: Major sewage works are due to start on holbeck Avenue, Brookfield, Middlesbrough, on January 12 are expected to continue for eight weeks. A temporary road closure will be in place with access maintained for residents only.
