A WOMAN has died after her car left the road and ended up in a ditch by the busy A64 near York this morning (Monday, December 17).
Her black car left the westbound carriageway by Bilbrough at around 7.50am and the driver, a 30-year-old woman, was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The carriageway was still closed at 12.45pm as the police invcestigation continued and polifce are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
