A MAN accused of breaching the terms of a sexual offences prevention order by making contact with two females under the age of 16 has had his application for bail refused.

On two occasions on September 30, Ian Graham Pritchard, of Hawthorn Avenue, Gainsborough, is alleged to have breached the order imposed by Teesside Crown Court on July 16.

Pritchard, 19, who previously lived in Middleton-St-George, near Darlington, is currently being held at Holme House Prison in Stockton-on-Tees, while he awaits committal to crown court on January 9.

At a case management hearing at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court an application for conditional bail was turned down.
