BOOK SIGNING: Author and broadcaster Peter Cook will be signing copies of his new book Now and Then at Marton Library in Middlesbrough tomorrow (Thursday, December 13) from 10am to noon. Copies of the book, which is a collection of 50 stories and almost 400 pictures relating to Cleveland and North Yorkshire, will be available for £10.
OUTDOOR CAROLS: A carol service is taking place in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church in Stockton on Monday, December 17 from 6.30pm. The derelict church in Parkfield, Stockton, will play host to two school choirs and the Salvation Army band. Entry is free and all are welcome.
