FILM NIGHT: The 80s action thriller, Die Hard, is the next screening of Darlington Film Club, at The Forum, in Borough Road, Darlington, tomorrow night (Monday, December 10). The event starts at 8pm and entry is £3 with free popcorn for everyone.

POLICE MEET: The next police and communities together (PACT) meeting for the Cockerton West ward will be held at Windsor Court, in Newton Lane, Darlington, tomorrow night (Monday, December 10), from 6pm until 7pm. All residents are welcome to discuss crime in the area.

CAROL SERVICE: The Co-operative Funeral Service will hold a Christmas service of remembrance at St Cuthbert’s Church, in Darlington, to remember loved ones during the festive period. The service will start at 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 11, and all are welcome.

COFFEE TIME: A Christmas coffee morning will be held at St Michael’s Church, in Heighington, near Darlington, on Saturday, December 15, from 10am until noon. Coffee, tea, mince pies and other seasonal food will be available, as well a raffle. Entry is £2 for adults, 50p for children.

LOVE LATIN: Voodoo Café, in Skinnergate, Darlington, is hoping to be awarded the Latin UK Award (LUKAS) for outstanding contribution to business.
