GAS LEAK: A road was closed for several hours while a gas leak was fixed. A member of the public reported the leak after smelling gas on Barracks Bank, between Scotch Corner and Skeeby, near Richmond, North Yorkshire, in the early hours of Friday morning. The road was closed in both directions while the leak was fixed with diversions put in place.
