Many local sports clubs offer sport to the local communities at a very low cost. Bishop Auckland Rugby club have literally hundreds of youngsters of all age groups playing rugby and offer superb social and sporting facilities for young people. Such team sports run by many other clubs in the region result also in the personal development of young people that serves them well as they grow into adulthood. I urge all parents to look around and see what sporting facilities are available in their area and have their children go along and have a look.
