POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of power tools worth several thousand pounds from a locked garage.
The haul was stolen from a garage at Baldersby Park, near Ripon, between 5pm on November 22 and 8.45am the next day – although details have only just been released by police.
The thieves stole angle grinders, Bosch power tools, drills, a Stihl saw, a petrol hedge trimmer, a chainsaw, a seven piece Makita tool kit and a plane.
PC Jayne Lambert said: “If you can identify the people responsible for this theft I urge you to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.
“I am also keen to speak with anyone who may have been offered power tools in unusual circumstances and ask them to get in touch.”
Contact Ripon police on 101, select option two and ask for Jayne Lambert. Alternatively information can be emailed to jayne.lambert@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
