CLASSIC sounds of the 60s will entertain rhythm and blues fans at Mickleton Village Hall on Saturday, December 8.

The show will feature Animals & Friends, successors to the legendary The Animals, who became the second British band after The Beatles to top the American charts with their anthem House of The Rising Sun.

Animals and Friends features founder member John Steel, alongside Danny Handley, Peter Barton and special guest Zoot Money.

They will belt out a string of hits such as We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, Baby Let Me Take You Home and I Put A Spell On You.

Organiser Sue Brown said: “These songs are among the great RnB classics and from some of the best musicians in the business.

“This is The Animals reinvented but the sound is as stunning and memorable as the original band.”

Tickets and further information is available from Ms Brown on 01833-640854 or sue@mickletonrnb.co.uk.
