Police appeal after stolen handbag found in Billingham

POLICE are appealing for information after a handbag was recovered from a bin following the theft of a car.
A Nissan Juke was stolen from a driveway in Billingham yesterday morning. Shortly afterwards, a black leather handbag that had been in the car was found in a bin in the town’s Gainsborough Crescent.
Police would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident or anyone who believes they may have seen the bag being dumped in the bin.
Anyone with information should call the police on non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
