A MAN has died following a collision in Stockton.
The 56-year-old, from the Stockton area, died when the white Ford Transit van he was driving collided with railings on the A177 between the Maritime Roundabout and Durham Road Roundabout.
He was taken to North Tees General Hospital by ambulance and pronounced dead a short time later.
Roads were closed following the incident and police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
