SILVER BAND CONCERT: Northallerton Silver Band will be giving its annual Christmas concert at Hambleton Forum on Wednesday, December 12 at 7.30pm. The Evergreen Singers will also perform during the evening. The programme will include popular carols for the audience to sing along to. Tickets are £6 and are available from Greensleeves, Central Arcade, Northallerton or by ringing 01609-777272.

CHRISTMAS DOMINOES: There will be a Christmas domino drive on Monday, December 10 in the village hall at Brompton, near Northallerton. The evening starts at 7pm and admission is £2 and includes refreshments. There will also be a Christmas raffle. All the money raised will go towards the renovation of the village hall.

FESTIVE FAIR: A Christmas fair will be held at South Otterington village hall, near Northallerton, to raise money for South Otterington Pre-school on Saturday, December 8, between 10am and midday. There will be Christmas craft activities for children, Father Christmas, stalls, mince pies and bacon butties available.
