Christmas comes to Sedgefield

A CHRISTMAS celebration will take place on Sedgefield Green from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, December 1. Highlights will include the arrival of Santa and his reindeers at the Parish Hall at 1pm, Santa’s grotto, a craft fair at Ceddesfeld Hall, traditional fairground, snowman parade and the Christmas lights switch-on at 4pm.

FESTIVE FACELIFT: Residents and members of Fishburn Parish Council and Durham County Council’s civic pride team are holding a litter pick in the village on Saturday, December 8. Anyone who would like to help should meet outside Fishburn District Working Mens Club on Alhambra Terrace at 10am.
