11-year-old girl taken to hospital after road collision in Billingham

AN 11-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car.
The incident happened at Wolviston Road, near the Kings Arms in Billingham at about 4pm today (Tuesday).
The girl has been taken to hospital by ambulance with suspected head injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Police remain on the scene and a spokeswoman said investigations are at an early stage.
