AFTER work drinks led to an 18-month driving ban for a hotel worker.
Erin Kinnie, 23, of Stonedale Crescent, Darlington drove her friends home despite having several drinks after finishing work at Rockliffe Hall hotel in Hurworth on November 12.
Miss Kinnie was stopped by police on Northgate, Darlington and a breath test revealed 89mg of alcohol in her breath – the legal limit is 35mg.
She pleaded guilty to drink driving at Darlington Magistrates’ Court today (November 27) and was banned from driving for 18-months, with the option to take a rehabilitation course to reduce it by four months.
Miss Kinnie was also ordered to pay a £150 fine, £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
