THREE proved the magic number for members of a karate club.
At the recent UK Karate Championships in Hull, members of the Mujushin Karate Club, based at Stokesley Leisure Centre, were awarded three third places.
They won third place in the adult Kata competition, the children’s Kata Junior Grade and the children’s Kata senior grade.
The highest result came in the boys 16 to 17 years category, where Andrew Scoones took second place.
The club – coached by Andy Sheridan - meets at Stokesley Leisure Centre every Friday with beginners’ sessions starting at 5.30pm.
The club is always welcome to new members and is suitable for anyone over the age of five.
