HOSPITAL DONATION: Youngsters from Ravensworth School, in Yarm, have donated £300 worth of toys to the children’s ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital.
The children held raffles and various events to raise the cash, and visited the hospital to hand over their presents.
FESTIVE EVENT: An animal charity is holding a Christmas Fair.
Dogs Trust, based in Sadberge, near Darlington, is hosting the event at its rehoming centre on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, from noon until 4pm on both days. Entry is free.
