POLICE ARRESTS: Police in Darlington have arrested two men on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle after a stolen satnav was recovered in the North Road area of the town.

PACT MEETING: Members of Hurworth partners and communities together (Pact) group are meeting on Thursday, November 29. The meeting will take place in Hurworth Methodist Chapel Meeting Room, in West End, Hurworth, from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.

JIGSAW CLUB: Heighington jigsaw lending library will meet on Thursday, November 29 from 2pm to 4pm. Members old and new are welcome in the village hall.

COUNCILLORS’ SURGERY: Councillors Gerald Lee and Paul Cruddass, ward members for Heighington and Coniscliffe, are holding a surgery to meet residents in High Coniscliffe Village Hall, on Saturday, December 1 from 10am until 11am.

CAROL SERVICE: A carol service takes place in Redworth Village Hall on Sunday, December 2, from 4pm. All are welcome.
