CROWDS lined the streets and flocked to Darlington's Cornmill shopping centre to catch an early glimpse of Santa and his reindeers.
Accompanied by the Cockerton Band, the reindeer parade wound its way through the town centre today (Sunday) and stopped inside the Cornmill to give hundreds of visitors the chance to meet Santa and see the reindeer up close.
Stilt walkers, Percy the Penguin and Rudolph were also onhand to entertain the youngsters, while the Cornmill's Eskimo ice sculpture provided a fitting festive backdrop.
