Barnard Castle comedy club aims to raise a laugh

COMEDY CLUB: It is the last chance to raise a smile for 2012 at Barnard Castle's Funny Way To Be comedy club on Saturday, December 1. MC for the evening at the Parish Hall, in Newgate is Jason Cook, currently appearing in the BBC2 sitcom Hebburn. Joining him in the line-up are Gary Delaney and David Johns, while support for the evening comes from local funnyman Graham Oakes. Tickets, priced £8 in advance, are available from The Old Well Inn, The Bank, Barnard Castle, and The Witham@Woodleighon Scar Top, as well as on-line at The show starts at 8pm with doors opening at 7.30pm.
