Northallerton horticultural project stages green panto

ADULTS working with a horticultural project are gearing up for a green-fingered version of Aladdin.

Northdale Horticulture, near Northallerton, which provides work and training for adults with learning disabilities, is busy staging rehearsals for its forthcoming production of Aladdin and the Magic Watering Can.

It is the project’s fifth pantomime and has been funded by the D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust. Other organisations will also be involved in the evenings’ entertainment, including students from The Dales School.

The pantomime will be staged on Thursday, December 13 and Friday, December 14 at the Forum in Northallerton.

There will also be a raffle and Christmas wreaths for sale.

Tickets to the performances, which begin at 7.15pm, are £5 and available from Northdale Horticulture on 01609-770269.
