A CHILDREN’S choir concert will be held later this month, with the aim of raising awareness of adoption and fostering.
The Voice in a Million choir, which will include hundreds of children from around the North-East, will perform at Newcastle City Hall on Sunday, November 25.
Youngsters from schools around the region will be taking part, as well as members of Stagecoach theatre groups from Darlington and Yarm.
The lead role of Jake will be played by 12-year-old Kaleb (CORR) Harvey, a student at Northfield School, in Billingham.
Creative director Jo Garofalo said: “We are delighted to be bringing this production to the North East.
“It is the perfect opportunity to raise awareness of adoption and fostering on a regional level.”
The show, the Orphans Christmas Wish, starts at 7.30pm. For tickets, call 0191-277-8030 or visit newcastlecityhall.org
