MUSIC MARTYRS: Professor Jeremy Dibble, from Durham University, will speak on English Musical Martyrs of the First World War when he is the guest of Barnard Castle Rotary Club on Thursday, December 6. The meeting takes place at Barnard Castle School, starting at 7pm. Tickets are free and donations to Rotary charities will be collected on the night.
