A FLASHER targeted a teenager as she walked along a street in the middle of the afternoon.
Police are asking the public for information after the indecent exposure in York. The 17-year-old had been walking down Main Street from Top Lane in Copmanthorpe at 2.15pm on Wednesday, November 7 when a small silver car pulled up next to her.
The man driving the car, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, wound the passenger window down, before making a lewd comment and exposing himself. He then drove off towards Top Lane.
The man is described as white and in his mid-twenties.
At the time he was wearing a woollen hat pulled down over his hair and ears, a long-sleeved zip-up grey hooded top and blue jeans.
Anyone who can help the police with their enquiries is asked to contact York police on 101, press option 2 and ask for police officer Martin Scott.
Alternatively, information can be emailed to martin.scott@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or give anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
